With 18 years in the business Jules has developed some of the best bars, clubs and restaurants across the UK. His passion for the industry is what gets him up every day. Jules is responsible for the strategic growth of the group and is the founder and owner of Gastro Taverns and designs all the concepts within the group. His firm belief in supporting the local economy is what started the company. With a hands on approach you can often find him in the venues shaking a cocktail or cooking up the latest menu.

Alan Underwood-Parry
Director
Co founder and joint owner of Gastro Taverns, Alan has joined the group with his expertise in online marketing, web development and IT. Having worked in London for many years for major newspaper chains, Alan looks after the marketing, web and strategic development of the group and manages Gastro Taverns key products like the Gastronomer card, ladies nights and Gastro nights, including all PR.

Steven Carnegie
Area Manager North
New to Gastro Taverns, Steve looks after the day to day operations of the venues north of Dundee and also project manages new openings for the group.
With a wealth of global experience within the industry Steve has worked as far afield as the Far East, Australia and Europe. Steves knowledge and expertise brings great support to our on site teams. All our unit personnel report to Steve.

Ian Macdonald
Head of Food Development
New to the operations team, Ian owrks with the board of Directors and looks after all food concepts within the group. He manages all our chef teams in the units, looks after the Gastro menu development and deals with all food procurement for the group.
